#### 239A Compulsory mediation of land dealing application disputes 239A Compulsory mediation of land dealing application disputes > > (1) This section applies to a dispute relating to a decision by the New South Wales Aboriginal Land Council under Division 4 of Part 2 to approve or not to approve a land dealing. > > > (2) A Local Aboriginal Land Council must, if the Council proposes to commence legal proceedings in relation to the dispute, refer the dispute to the Registrar. > > > (3) The Registrar may, with the parties consent— > > > > > (a) attempt to resolve the dispute by mediation, conciliation or arbitration, or > > > > > (b) refer the dispute to mediation, conciliation or arbitration by an independent person. > > **s 239A:** Ins 2009 No 58, Sch 1 \[18\].
