#### 201 Suspension pending Tribunal determination 201 Suspension pending Tribunal determination > > (1) The Registrar may, by written notice, suspend an officer of an Aboriginal Land Council from holding office if— > > > > > (a) the Registrar decides to refer alleged misconduct of the officer to the Tribunal under this Subdivision, and > > > > > (b) the Registrar is satisfied the alleged misconduct is so serious as to threaten the proper operation of the Council. > > > (2) The suspension continues until the Tribunal— > > > > > (a) determines the matter, or > > > > > (b) decides not to conduct proceedings into the matter, or > > > > > (c) revokes the suspension under subsection (3). > > > (3) The Tribunal may, if it considers it appropriate, revoke the suspension of an officer under this Division. > > **s 201:** Ins 2001 No 118, Sch 1 \[17\].
