49A Plan required if impact management plan or comprehensive impact statement is required (1) This section applies if a project proponent is required to prepare an impact management plan or comprehensive impact statement in relation to a declared project. (2) The project proponent must not commence works until a cultural heritage management plan for the area in which the works are to be carried out has been approved. (3) In this section, ***declared project***, ***comprehensive impact statement***, ***impact management plan***, ***project proponent*** and ***works*** have the same meaning as in the **Major Transport Projects Facilitation Act 2009**.
