163 Cessation of appointment The appointment of an authorisedofficer under this Act ceases immediately if— S. 163(a) amended by No. 11/2016 s. 102(2). (a) the authorisedofficer ceases to be an employee under Part 3 of the **Public Administration Act 2004**; or S. 163(b) substituted by No. 11/2016 s. 102(3). (b) if the authorised officer was appointed under section 160(1)(b), the authorised officer ceases to be appointed as an inspector, enforcement officer or authorised officer by or under any other Act; or (c) the Minister revokes the appointment under section 162; or (d) the person resigns his or her appointment.
