158DPayments out of the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Fund

158D Payments out of the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Fund (1) The Secretary may pay out of the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Fund any money— (a) to provide assistance generally for the protection and management of Aboriginal cultural heritage; or (b) to provide assistance generally for the conservation, protection and management of an area to which a protection declaration relates; or (c) to make grants for the purposes of protecting and managing Aboriginal cultural heritage; or (d) to do anything else authorised by this Act. (2) The Council may pay out of the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Fund any money— (a) to make loans for the purposes of protecting and managing Aboriginal cultural heritage; or (b) to acquire any land or other assets authorised by this Act; or (c) to repay any money borrowed by the Council including any charges or interest on that money; or (d) to do anything else authorised by this Act.
