147 Secretary may provide advice to persons or bodies seeking access to Register (1) The Secretary may provide advice to any person as to whether a record exists on the Register in relation to a nominated area of land. (2) An application to the Secretary for advice under subsection (1) must be accompanied by the prescribed fee (if any). (3) Subject to subsection (4), the advice under subsection (1) must include sufficient detail to identify the nature of the record. (4) In providing advice under subsection (1), the Secretary must not provide any information if providing the information would be likely to endanger Aboriginal cultural heritage.
