Schedule 3—Transitional provisions The Minister may give directions under section 24 in relation to Aboriginal sites, objects or remains within an area that was a prohibited area or historic reserve under the Aboriginal and Historic Relics Preservation Act 1965 immediately prior to the commencement of this Act, without complying with subsection (3) of that section. (2) Without limiting subclause (1), a delegation under section 6(2) of the Aboriginal Heritage Act 1988 (whether made before or after the commencement of this clause) will, by force of this subclause, be taken to be revoked.
