Division 3—Control of sale of, and other dealings with, Aboriginal objects
29—Control of sale of and other dealings with objects
(1) A person must not, without authorisation by the Minister—
(a) sell or dispose of an Aboriginal object; or
(b) remove an Aboriginal object from the State.
(2) This section does not affect the sale of land of which an Aboriginal object forms part or to which an Aboriginal object is affixed.
(2a) Without limiting any other provision of this Act, the Minister may give an authorisation for the purposes of this section to a specified class of persons.
(2b) Without limiting any other provision of this Act, the Minister may give an authorisation for the purposes of this section in relation to a specified Aboriginal object, or to Aboriginal objects of a specified class.
(3) The Minister must in determining whether to give an authorisation for the purposes of this section comply with the regulations.
