#### 29 Powers of Aboriginal Council generally Subject to this Act and the Commonwealth Authorities and Companies Act 1997, an Aboriginal Council may do all things that are necessary or convenient to be done for or in connexion with the performance of its functions and, in particular, may: (a) raise or borrow moneys on such terms, and in such manner, as it thinks fit; (b) secure the repayment of moneys so raised or borrowed, or the payment of a debt or liability of the Council, by giving a mortgage, charge or other security upon or over all or any of the property of the Council; (d) receive and disburse moneys provided to it.
