#### 19 Determination that no entitlement If the Secretary is not satisfied as mentioned in section 16, 17 or 18, the Secretary must determine: (a) if the determination is on a claim for payment of family tax benefit by instalment—that the claimant is not entitled to be paid family tax benefit for each day on which the determination is in force; or (b) in any other case—that the claimant is not entitled to be paid family tax benefit for the past period or because of the death of the other individual, as the case requires.
