#### 18 Determination of bereavement entitlement claim If: (a) the claim is one for payment of family tax benefit by single payment/in substitution because of the death of another individual; and (b) the Secretary is satisfied that the claimant is eligible for family tax benefit under section 32 or 33 of the Family Assistance Act; the Secretary must determine that the claimant is entitled to be paid the family tax benefit.
