Fair Work Australia approved the TransGrid Employees Agreement 2010, a workplace agreement for employees in the electrical power industry. The employer gave a formal promise (undertaking) about how certain clauses would work, and this became part of the agreement. Several unions who helped negotiate the agreement asked to be covered by it, which was noted in the decision. The agreement started on 17 May 2011 and will nominally expire on 1 December 2013.
