**1 John Xypolitos, you have been found guilty, by jury verdict, of murder and have admitted a prior conviction. In 2003 Gary Greg Adams was, in effect, your stepson. You had been in a relationship with his mother, Jo-Ann Adams, since 1998 but by July 2003 the relationship was coming to an end. Nonetheless, the three of you remained living together at 22 Raisell Road, Cranbourne West and you exercised dominion over the household.
