1 Brian Robert Browning, on 6 May 2015 you were found guilty by a jury of the murder of Catherine Elizabeth Browning following a trial. On 4 September 2015, I heard submissions concerning sentence from the prosecutor, Mr Brown, and from counsel on your behalf, Mr Georgiou SC. The maximum penalty for murder is life imprisonment and it is now my task to impose a sentence upon you.
