TEAM GLOBAL EXPRESS PRIORITY MELBOURNE AIRPORT (ENGINEERING & MAINTENANCE) ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2025
Application for approval of the Team Global Express Priority Melbourne Airport (Engineering & Maintenance) Enterprise Agreement 2025
[1] An application has been made for approval of an enterprise agreement known as the Team Global Express Priority Melbourne Airport (Engineering & Maintenance) Enterprise Agreement 2025 (the Agreement). The application was made pursuant to s.185 of the Fair Work Act 2009 (the Act). It has been made by Team Global Express Pty Ltd (the Employer). The Agreement is a single enterprise agreement.
[2] On 17 November 2025, I wrote to the Employer noting that, on the application documents filed with the Commission, the notice of employee representation rights (NERR) had been given by the Employer, to the employees to be covered by the Agreement, more than 14 days after the notification time, inconsistent with section 173(3) of the Act. The Employer responded later that day, submitting that the notification date provided to the Commission in its application documents required correction, and should have been noted as 8 May 2024 rather than 15 May. The Employer also provided a copy of the correspondence issued with the NERR to its business leaders, advising of the notification time. I am satisfied that this was an administrative error in the Employer's application and that the NERR was provided to the employees to be covered by the agreement within 14 days of the notification time.
[3] I am satisfied that each of the requirements of ss.186, 187 and 188 as are relevant to this application for approval have been met.
[4] The Agreement is approved and, in accordance with s.54 of the Act, will operate from 2 December 2025. The nominal expiry date of the Agreement is 30 June 2027.
