Application for variation of the Tassal Operations Pty Ltd (Macquarie Harbour Marine Operations) Enterprise Agreement 2022

[1] Tassal Operations Pty Ltd (Tassal) has applied for approval of a variation to the Tassal Operations Pty Ltd (Macquarie Harbour Marine Operations) Enterprise Agreement 2022 (the Agreement). The application is made under section 210 of the Fair Work Act 2009 (the Act).

[2] The effect of the variation sought is to increase wage rates and allowances provided for in the Agreement.

[3] The Agreement covers the Australian Workers' Union (AWU) who has filed a Form F23B Declaration and supports the application.

[4] Having regard to material filed in support of the application I am satisfied that each of the requirements of sections 210 and 211 as are relevant to the application for approval of the variation have been met.

[5] The Variation is approved. The Variation takes effect from the date of this decision.

[6] The consolidated version of the Agreement, as varied, is attached to this decision.
