INTERIM ORDER - whether an interim order is warranted.
An interim order to halt any work is sought on a temporary basis. An order for a short time pending an interim decision would be a good outcome. Many residents on site want work to start and have been convinced that there are no problems with the Garden Sub-Committee or the process to get a vote on the 2025 Garden Plan. An order that lasts for months until a final decision is made will not be well received and will be perceived as another obstruction.
[1] It appears the sinking fund budget submitted to the 2023 AGM included $67,000 for landscaping for 2023-2024. A professional sinking fund forecast obtained in 2023 included amounts totalling $204,057 over 6 years for 'gardens - upgrade'. It appears that forecast was adopted at the 2023 AGM to provide 'guidance' but it does not appear to have been approved as a budget.
