- The applicant, Adam Raimondi, complains of a sentence imposed on him in the County Court on 3 December last. He pleaded guilty to three counts of committing an indecent act with a child under the age of 16, contrary to s.47 of the Crimes Act 1958. The victims were three very young boys, one in relation to each count. The offences were all perpetrated on Saturday 1 November 1997 when the applicant was aged 22 years. The victim of count 1 was at the time aged eight years and nine months, the victim of count 2 seven years and the victim of count 3 five years and eleven months.
- The applicant lived with his parents and sister in a residential street in an outer north-western suburb. The victims of counts 1 and 3 lived with their families in houses on either side of the applicant's. The victim of count 2 lived in a street nearby.
