Introduction
- Abdul Ghamraoui appears for sentence for an offence contrary to s 35(3) Crimes Act 1900 (NSW) expressed thus: On 18 March 2020 at Hunters Hill in the State of New South Wales while in the company of Dorian Hrncic, did wound Sebastian Lim, being reckless as to causing actual bodily harm to the said Sebastian Lim.
- There is a related offence of possession of prohibited weapon, knuckle dusters, contrary to s 7(1) Weapons Prohibition Act 1998 (NSW) before the Court, pursuant to s 166 Criminal Procedure Act 1986 (NSW) and therefore is to be dealt with as a summary offence. It is expressed thus: Between 8.00pm and 9.00pm on 18 March 2020 at Hunters Hill in the State of New South Wales, did possess a prohibited weapon, namely knuckle dusters.
- The offender consented to the determination of sentence for the summary offence in these proceedings and pleaded guilty to the charge when it was read to him.
- There are further offences before the Court pursuant to s 166 Criminal Procedure Act 1986 which the Crown withdraws.
