I note that this is about the tenth time Ms O'Malley has been before the Tribunal in the past 12 months. I am encouraged that Ms O'Malley has acknowledged she has a problem and sought a support worker. Ms O'Malley needs to make serious efforts to improve the tidiness of the house. Existing photographs of the inside of the property show significant untidiness and squalor. It is unacceptable for Ms O'Malley and her children to be living in these circumstances. I will adjourn the matter but will require Ms O'Malley to cooperate with the Trust to provide access for inspections. I encourage Ms O'Malley to make a start on improving the property even before the hoarding program starts. The hoarding program is designed to guide Ms O'Malley and provide support and encouragement, but it will also require Ms O'Malley to push herself to take action. I would like to see significant progress when the matter is called back on.
