"During the first three weeks of my redundancy, I was depressed and ashamed to mention it to anyone. My ex-wife has also been overseas for the last month meaning I have had full time care of my son. I finally sought advice from a friend who is going through a similar situation and she gave me advice and direction that what happened to me was completely unfair dismissal and directed me to the Fair Work Commission."
