SUPREME COURT OF NEW SOUTH WALES - COURT OF APPEAL
CORPORATIONS - Prospectus issued - Documents referred to in schedule of prospectus - s1029 Corporations Law - inspection of documents - who has the right to inspect documents.
Gleeson CJ. This is an appeal from a decision from McLelland J in the Equity Division of the Court. The appeal has been brought on as a matter of urgency. His Honour made an order under s 1324 of the Corporations Law to enforce compliance by the appellant with the provisions of s 1029. Those provisions, so his Honour held, obliged the appellant to permit the respondent to inspect certain documents referred to in a prospectus issued by the appellant.
