[2022] AATA 4815
appellant. The Tribunal affirms the decision not to grant the applicant a Regional Employer Nomination (Permanent) (Class RN) visa.
The Administrative Appeals Tribunal refused a Regional Employer Nomination visa because the employer's nomination had already been refused, and without an approved nomination, the visa could not be granted. The applicant asked for more time to find a new employer to sponsor her, but the Tribunal refused, following previous court decisions that it does not have to wait indefinitely for applicants to find new sponsors. The applicant was working as a restaurant manager in Tasmania, but this was not enough to overcome the requirement for an approved nomination from the original employer.
