[1] On 31 October 2025, Galvatech Pty Ltd (Galvatech) applied under s.222 of the Fair Work Act 2009 (Act) to terminate the Galvatech Pty Ltd Enterprise Agreement 2011 (Agreement) by agreement with affected employees. The Agreement nominally expired on 12 December 2015. No unions are covered by the Agreement.

[2] In the circumstances and based on the material filed in support of the application, I am satisfied that Galvatech has complied with s.220(2) of the Act and that the termination was agreed to by a majority of employees who cast a valid vote to approve the termination. The application was made in accordance with the Act and there are no other reasonable grounds for believing that the employees have not agreed to the termination. In the circumstances, I consider it appropriate to approve the termination of the Agreement.

[3] Termination of the Agreement is approved. The termination will operate from midnight on 30 November 2025.
