Fig. 1 shows these properties as well as the hazard lines and zones. The following provides some basic facts for a number of properties.
+ No. 48 Kalakau Avenue sold in 2001 for $920,000 and was resold in 2003 for over $2,000,000. this property is not affected by the hazard lines and has substantial improvements with expansive views.
+ No. 56 with direct access to the beach and 594 sq m sold in June 2002 for $978,000. it is not affected by the hazard lines.
+ No. 72 sold in September 2000 for $770,00.
+ No. 74 was purchased by Gosford City Council at the end of 1999 for $340,000.
+ No. 88 was sold in 1998 for $470,000 and resold in May 2003 for $1.375,000,000. It has a land area of 582 sq m.
+ No. 92 was purchased by the council at the end of 2000 for $375,000.
+ No. 96 was sold in July 2002 for $155,000,000. This property has a substantial dwelling with extensive landscaping at the northern end.
