REASONS FOR DECISION
- On 19 January 2023, Robert Deeley ("Mr Deeley", "the Applicant" or "the practitioner") applied to the Tribunal under s 163B of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (NSW) ("the National Law") for review, seeking a reinstatement order so he could apply for re-registration as an enrolled nurse. In his application to the Tribunal, Mr Deeley stated as grounds for the application, that it was over 13 years from the date of the decision made in 2010 preventing him from making an application for review of the cancellation of his registration as an enrolled nurse. Since that time he has completed a Bachelor of Nursing degree which demonstrates him having gained new skills and knowledge and a commitment to his career as a nurse. He is now wishing to re-apply for nursing registration.
