JUDGMENT
- BASTEN AJA: The applicant, Andrew Beck, seeks leave to appeal from two sentences imposed on him in the District Court on 15 March 2024. The specific grounds on which the applicant challenged the length of the sentences must be rejected. However, for reasons other than those identified by the applicant (or by the Commonwealth Director) the sentencing exercise miscarried and the applicant must be resentenced.
