MAROOCHY PRIVATE HOSPITAL (NURSES) AND ANMF (QLD BRANCH) GREENFIELDS ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2026

Application for approval of the Maroochy Private Hospital (Nurses) and ANMF (Qld Branch) Greenfields Enterprise Agreement 2026

[1] An application has been made for approval of a greenfields agreement known as the Maroochy Private Hospital (Nurses) and ANMF (Qld Branch) Greenfields Enterprise Agreement 2026 (the Agreement). The application was made by ABsolute Workplace Solutions Pty Ltd trading as Leana Street Consulting, pursuant to s.185 of the Fair Work Act 2009 ("the Act"), a bargaining representative representing the employer, Maroochy Private Hospital Pty Ltd.

[2] On the materials before the Commission, I am satisfied that:

1. This is a greenfields agreement that meets the requirements of s.172(2)(b) of the Act;

b) the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation ("ANMF") is entitled to represent the industrial interests of a majority of employees who will be covered by the Agreement in relation to work that is to be performed under it;[1] and

1. it is in the public interest to approve the Agreement.

[3] Pursuant to s.53(2)(b) of the Act I note the Agreement was made with ANMF and that the Agreement covers the ANMF.

[4] The Agreement is approved and will operate from the first pay period commencing 7 days after approval in accordance with Clause 3.1 of the Agreement. The nominal expiry date of the Agreement is 31 December 2026.
