### sec.81 Annual levy payable
A self-insurer must pay a levy for each financial year or part of a financial year of a licence.
A regulation must prescribe the way the levy is calculated.
The levy is to be set at the rate specified by the Regulator and approved by the Minister for each financial year.
The Regulator must recommend the rate for each financial year to the Minister.
The Regulator must consult with the Minister before giving the recommendation.
The Regulator must publish the rate approved by the Minister in the gazette.
The Regulator must give a self-insurer written notice of the amount of the levy.
The self-insurer must pay the levy on or before the due date shown in the notice.
If a self-insurer is aggrieved by the Regulator’s decision about the amount of levy payable, the self-insurer may appeal against the decision under chapter 13 .
