### sec.705 Dealing with seized property
This section applies to a thing seized under the pre-amended Act, section 524, that has not been finally dealt with under the pre-amended Act before commencement.
The thing is taken to have been seized under section 529.
A receipt given for the thing under the pre-amended Act is taken to be a receipt given for the thing under section 530.
For applying this Act to the seizure, the period mentioned in section 532 is taken to have started when the thing was seized under the pre-amended Act.

(sec.705-ssec.1) This section applies to a thing seized under the pre-amended Act, section 524, that has not been finally dealt with under the pre-amended Act before commencement.
(sec.705-ssec.2) The thing is taken to have been seized under section 529.
(sec.705-ssec.3) A receipt given for the thing under the pre-amended Act is taken to be a receipt given for the thing under section 530.
(sec.705-ssec.4) For applying this Act to the seizure, the period mentioned in section 532 is taken to have started when the thing was seized under the pre-amended Act.
