### sec.585 Entitlements to compensation under contract of employment prohibited and void
A contract of employment can not include a provision for accident pay, or other payment, on account of a worker sustaining an injury.
A provision of a contract of employment is of no force or effect to the extent it provides for payment of accident pay, or other payment, on account of a worker sustaining an injury.
In this section—
contract of employment means a contract with a worker or a contract with an individual in the circumstances mentioned in schedule 2 , part 1 but does not include an industrial instrument.

(sec.585-ssec.1) A contract of employment can not include a provision for accident pay, or other payment, on account of a worker sustaining an injury.
