### sec.331 Accountability of authorised persons
An authorised person must give written notice to the Regulator of all interests, pecuniary or otherwise, that the authorised person has, or acquires, and that conflict or could conflict with the proper performance of the authorised person’s functions.
The Regulator must give a direction to an authorised person not to deal, or to no longer deal, with a matter if the Regulator becomes aware that the authorised person has a potential conflict of interest in relation to a matter and the Regulator considers that the authorised person should not deal, or should no longer deal, with the matter.
Failure to comply with subsection (1) or a direction under subsection (2) may result in action by the Regulator under section 332 or disciplinary action under the Public Sector Act 2022 .
