### sec.156 Official voluntary assisted dying care navigator service
The chief executive may approve a service to be an official voluntary assisted dying care navigator service for this Act.
The purpose of an official voluntary assisted dying care navigator service is to provide support, assistance and information to people relating to voluntary assisted dying.
The chief executive must publish an approval under subsection (1) on the department’s website.
(sec.156-ssec.1) The chief executive may approve a service to be an official voluntary assisted dying care navigator service for this Act.
