### sec.155 Technical error not to invalidate processes
The validity of the request and assessment process or the administration process is not affected by—
any minor or technical error in a form required to be completed under part 3 or 4 ; or
the failure of a person to provide a form within the time required under part 3 or 4 ; or
the failure of a medical practitioner to do an act within the time required under part 3 or 4 for doing the act.
In this section—
administration process means the process that consists of the following steps—
an administration decision;
an administration or self-administration of a voluntary assisted dying substance.
This section is in addition to, and does not limit, the Acts Interpretation Act 1954 , section 48A .
(sec.155-ssec.1) The validity of the request and assessment process or the administration process is not affected by— any minor or technical error in a form required to be completed under part 3 or 4 ; or the failure of a person to provide a form within the time required under part 3 or 4 ; or the failure of a medical practitioner to do an act within the time required under part 3 or 4 for doing the act.
(sec.155-ssec.2) In this section— administration process means the process that consists of the following steps— an administration decision; an administration or self-administration of a voluntary assisted dying substance.
(sec.155-ssec.3) This section is in addition to, and does not limit, the Acts Interpretation Act 1954 , section 48A .
- (a) any minor or technical error in a form required to be completed under part 3 or 4 ; or
- (b) the failure of a person to provide a form within the time required under part 3 or 4 ; or
- (c) the failure of a medical practitioner to do an act within the time required under part 3 or 4 for doing the act.
