### sec.213 Amendment of grants
New chapter 3 , part 15 , division 1 applies in relation to an application for amendment of a grant of assistance decided on or after the commencement, regardless of whether the act of violence was committed before or after the commencement.
Subsection (3) applies if—
a proportion of an assistance limit was granted before the commencement to another victim of the act of violence; and
the assistance limit would have applied to the applicant had the amending Act not commenced.
Despite subsection (1) , for considering and deciding the application—
section 103 (2) (c) applies as if it refers to previous section 85 and new sections 86 and 87 ; and
previous section 104 (3) applies.
