### sec.126 Effect of reducing amount of assistance
This section applies if, following a review of a decision under section 124 or 125 , the amount of assistance granted to a person is reduced.
The person must refund to the State the amount of assistance paid to the person in excess of the amount of assistance granted following the review.
An amount that is refundable under this section is a debt owed to the State by the person.
