### sec.110 Recovery available only after appeal rights exhausted The State may, under this part, recover assistance granted for an act of violence from a person who is convicted of a relevant offence for the act only if— if the convicted person has appealed the conviction—the appeal is decided and the conviction is upheld; or otherwise—the period within which the person may appeal the conviction has passed. - (a) if the convicted person has appealed the conviction—the appeal is decided and the conviction is upheld; or - (b) otherwise—the period within which the person may appeal the conviction has passed.
