### sec.461A Management by Gold Coast Waterways Authority
This section applies to a public marine facility in, or on land adjacent to, Gold Coast waters if, apart from this section, there is no current manager of the facility.
The Gold Coast Waterways Authority is taken to be the manager of the public marine facility until a person is appointed as the manager of the facility under section 459 .
If the Gold Coast Waterways Authority is the manager of a public marine facility, the authority—
has any powers, conferred under a regulation, to limit or prohibit the use of the facility; and
may exercise any other of the authority’s powers, and do anything the authority considers necessary or convenient, for the facility’s effective and efficient management.
This section does not limit a power the Gold Coast Waterways Authority has apart from this section.

(sec.461A-ssec.4) This section does not limit a power the Gold Coast Waterways Authority has apart from this section.
- (a) has any powers, conferred under a regulation, to limit or prohibit the use of the facility; and
- (b) may exercise any other of the authority’s powers, and do anything the authority considers necessary or convenient, for the facility’s effective and efficient management.
