### sec.462 Management by local government If a local government is the manager of a public marine facility, the local government— has, for the facility, all the functions, powers and obligations of a local government under the Local Government Act 2009 ; and may make local laws and do anything it considers necessary or convenient for the facility’s effective and efficient management. s 462 ins 2000 No. 6 s 25 amd 2009 No. 17 s 331 sch 1 - (a) has, for the facility, all the functions, powers and obligations of a local government under the Local Government Act 2009 ; and - (b) may make local laws and do anything it considers necessary or convenient for the facility’s effective and efficient management.
