### sec.461 Management by chief executive
This section applies to a public marine facility, other than a facility in, or on land adjacent to, Gold Coast waters, if, apart from this section, there is no current manager of the facility.
The chief executive is taken to be the manager of the public marine facility until the chief executive or someone else is appointed as the manager under section 459 .
If the chief executive is the manager of a public marine facility, the chief executive—
has any powers, conferred under a regulation, to limit or prohibit the use of the facility; and
may exercise any other of the chief executive’s powers, and do anything the chief executive considers necessary or convenient, for the facility’s effective and efficient management.
This section does not limit a power the chief executive has apart from this section.
