### sec.34 Offender to pay cost of remedying unauthorised works
If a person carries out works contrary to section 33 (1) , the chief executive may—
dismantle or alter the works; or
remedy damage caused by the works.
If the chief executive causes the works to be dismantled or altered or the damage to be remedied under subsection (1) , the person is liable to pay to the chief executive the costs incurred by the chief executive.

(sec.34-ssec.1) If a person carries out works contrary to section 33 (1) , the chief executive may— dismantle or alter the works; or remedy damage caused by the works.
(sec.34-ssec.2) If the chief executive causes the works to be dismantled or altered or the damage to be remedied under subsection (1) , the person is liable to pay to the chief executive the costs incurred by the chief executive.
- (a) dismantle or alter the works; or
- (b) remedy damage caused by the works.
