### sec.35 Staff services from department and trustee
At the officer’s request—
the chief executive may assign public service employees of the department to perform work for the officer; or
the trustee may assign an officer or employee of the trustee to perform work for the officer.
A person assigned to perform work for the officer under this section is not subject to the direction of the chief executive or trustee in relation to the performance of the work.
In this section—
trustee means—
the trustee of the scheme under the deed; or
an entity ultimately owned or controlled by the trustee of the scheme under the deed.

(sec.35-ssec.1) At the officer’s request— the chief executive may assign public service employees of the department to perform work for the officer; or the trustee may assign an officer or employee of the trustee to perform work for the officer.
(sec.35-ssec.2) A person assigned to perform work for the officer under this section is not subject to the direction of the chief executive or trustee in relation to the performance of the work.
