### sec.45 Protection from liability
Civil liability does not attach to any of the following entities because of an act done, or omission made, honestly and without negligence by the entity under this Act—
the State;
a local government;
the Minister;
an SES member;
an authorised rescue officer;
a person helping an authorised rescue officer under section 35 (3) (h) .
