### sec.54ZI Notice of cancellation or suspension decision
If the Coordinator-General decides under section 54ZG (1) to cancel or suspend an environmental approval in relation to a specified provision, the Coordinator-General must, within 14 days after the decision, give the proponent written notice of the decision and the reasons for it.
If the decision is to suspend the environmental approval in relation to a specified provision—
the notice must state the period of the suspension (the suspension period ); and
during the suspension period, the specified provision applies to the coordinated project the subject of the environmental approval as if the approval had not been given.
A decision to cancel or suspend the environmental approval takes effect on the later of the following—
the day the written notice is given to the proponent;
the day of effect stated in the written notice.
