### sec.103-oc.2 Witness may be summoned before tribunal
Upon the request of a person to whom a notice has been given under section 106 (7) , or the agent of any such person, a tribunal under its hand may summon any person to attend the tribunal at the time and place specified in the summons and then and there to give evidence and to produce books, documents or writings in his or her custody or control which he or she is required by the summons to produce.
The fee payable for the issue of a summons is the amount prescribed under the Building Units and Group Titles Act, section 103 (2) .

A person served with a summons under subsection (1) shall not, without reasonable excuse, disobey the summons.
Maximum penalty—
in the case of an individual—$500 or imprisonment for 6 months; or
in the case of a corporation—$1,000.
A person is not bound to produce any books, documents or writings not specified or otherwise sufficiently described in the summons or which he or she would not be bound to produce upon a subpoena for production in the Court.
A summons under subsection (1) need not be obeyed by a person unless the person has tendered his or her reasonable expenses for attending the tribunal in accordance with the summons.
