### sec.16 Composition of board
The board consists of the following persons (each of whom is a director )—
the chief executive;
the chief executive of the department in which the Financial Accountability Act 2009 is administered;
not more than 5 other persons, appointed by the Governor in Council, who have the skills and experience necessary to enable them to contribute effectively to the board’s ability to perform its functions.

The Governor in Council must appoint 1 of the directors appointed under subsection (1) (c) as the chairperson.
The chairperson’s term of appointment ends when the person’s term of appointment as a director ends.
