### sec.45 Self-assessment
Before applying for accreditation of a residential service at a particular level, the service provider must—
obtain, from the chief executive, the self-assessment material relevant to accreditation at that level; and
start providing the accommodation, food service or personal care service to which the accreditation relates (the accreditation service ); and
