### sec.25 Use of criminal history information
This section applies to the chief executive in considering information in a criminal history report about a person obtained under section 24 or given to the chief executive by a service provider.
The information must not be used for any purpose other than deciding whether the person is a suitable person for this Act.
When making the decision, the chief executive must have regard to the following matters about a conviction of a person for an offence—
when the offence was committed;
the nature of the offence and its relevance to the decision;
whether the person is a service provider or an associate.
(sec.25-ssec.1) This section applies to the chief executive in considering information in a criminal history report about a person obtained under section 24 or given to the chief executive by a service provider.
(sec.25-ssec.2) The information must not be used for any purpose other than deciding whether the person is a suitable person for this Act.
(sec.25-ssec.3) When making the decision, the chief executive must have regard to the following matters about a conviction of a person for an offence— when the offence was committed; the nature of the offence and its relevance to the decision; whether the person is a service provider or an associate.
