### sec.46 How records must be kept
The holder of a recorded activity permit must keep each record for the permit in an electronic system.
If the electronic system is not working on the day information for the recorded activity permit must be recorded, the holder must—
record the information in another form on the day; and
enter the information into the system within 24 hours after the holder becomes aware the system is accessible.
Each record for a recorded activity permit must be kept—
in a retrievable and legible form; and
securely in a way that can not be altered, obscured, deleted or removed without detection.

The holder must keep each record for at least 2 years after the holder stops conducting activities under the recorded activity permit.
(sec.46-ssec.1) The holder of a recorded activity permit must keep each record for the permit in an electronic system.
(sec.46-ssec.2) If the electronic system is not working on the day information for the recorded activity permit must be recorded, the holder must— record the information in another form on the day; and enter the information into the system within 24 hours after the holder becomes aware the system is accessible.
