### sec.70 Restrictions on entering into commercial activity agreement
A commercial activity agreement must be consistent with this Act and the management intent for the recreation area it concerns.
Also, a commercial activity agreement must not—
create an interest in land in a recreation area; or
authorise the carrying out of major earthworks, or the installation of a permanent structure, in a recreation area.
Sections 50 , 52 , 53 and 56 apply for the chief executive when entering into a commercial activity agreement as if—
a reference in those sections to a permit or the application were a reference to a commercial activity agreement; and
a reference in those sections to the applicant were a reference to the person seeking to enter into the agreement with the chief executive.
In this section—
major earthworks means earthworks that cause a major disturbance to the cultural or natural resources of a recreation area.

(sec.70-ssec.1) A commercial activity agreement must be consistent with this Act and the management intent for the recreation area it concerns.
(sec.70-ssec.2) Also, a commercial activity agreement must not— create an interest in land in a recreation area; or authorise the carrying out of major earthworks, or the installation of a permanent structure, in a recreation area.
